If you’re in the market for a .308 caliber rifle that will pack a punch, but won’t punch a huge hole in your wallet, DPMS has you covered! The gun is an excellent shooter, with some owners of the LR series achieving sub-MOA groups (fired from a rest, of course). Obviously you will not realistically achieve sub-MOA from a carbine-length rifle, but the accuracy of DPMS’s rifles for the money is excellent! At around $900-1100, you may want to do a bit of comparison shopping among multiple retailers. The best part of the rifle? It feeds steel cased ammo flawlessly! I’ve run over 300 rounds of Tula Ammo through mine, and never once have had a hiccup, and only cleaned it once before I took mine shooting for the first time.
